The Runaway Bunny by Margaret Wise Brown and Clement Hurd. "'If you run away,' said his mother, 'I will run after you. For you are my little bunny.'" This picture book was first published in 1942 and has never been out of print since! It's a cute little story with beautiful illustrations, about a mother's love and the great lengths that she will go to for her 'little bunny'. Great for teaching children about the love, closeness and security of family.
